We-lé-doh Schools and Community Workshops

*Souleymane teaches 2 weekly African drumming workshops at
the RhYtHm CaFe in Camden Stables market every week:
Advanced Class on Mondays, 7-10 pm; and
Intermediate Class on Saturdays, 4-6.30pm*

We-lé-doh African drumming and dance workshops are great for kids and adults:

• They give the chance to experience traditional African culture first hand.
• They are inclusive – everyone can take part.
• Playing and dancing together promote team working, and help to build self-confidence.
• Drumming and dance are fun ways to exercise and develop co-ordination.
• They allow us to channel energy and release tension.

Souleymane Compo is the director of We-lé-doh. We provide workshops in African drumming, African dance, or a combination of both. Workshops can be tailored to suit schoolchildren of all ages and abilities, as well as community groups such as prisons, day care centres, and primary care trusts.
